Ojibway's visit St. Louis

Nona, Chief, and Shawna make the 14 hour ish road trip from Midlothian, Virginia to come see us for the 4th of July  holiday weekend. We stayed busy playing, working, and relaxing. Here is a sampling of some things we did. We planted plants, went sight seeing, changed a toilet, mudded a room, hung lights, made an access to the attic, went to a parade, played games.  I tried to capture some of these moments, but of course I did not capture all of them.

Easter, Family, Friends, and More.

MeMe and Pop visit for Easter!!! and it rained pretty much all weekend, but we had a wonderful visit.

Easter morning opening up her basket in the playroom.

We had fun with friends dying Easter Eggs and playing at our house the Wednesday before Easter.

Another big event in our life is buying a house. Yes we are finally settling down and laying some roots down here in Saint Louis. God is so Good!!! and we found a house that was a foreclosure and we hope to close on beginning of June. Here are two pictures and more will follow. (probably once we move in)

Luke is now 7 months old and he is showing you his six teeth. They are coming in so quickly and he chews on everything, not to mention drooling on everything too.

Luke is 6 months old.

Luke has now taken over Alia's old chair and is sitting at the table with us. He is starting to eat food. He is rolling over more frequently and scooting on his tummy to reach and get items within his reach. He has 3 teeth that are visible and is eager to chew on everything. He is fascinated by Alia and  has difficulty taking his eyes off of her. He is 29 inches long and is 20lbs 5.2oz. He is currently wearing 12 month clothes.

God Blesses Yet Again!!!!

God is good and faithful. Thank you for all the prayers for Michael's job for next year. The Lord has given Michael a full time job at Saint Louis University in the Math Department, so we will be staying in St. Louis for a while. One prayer request down, then another one arises. (as i chuckle) Where to live? Buy or continue to Rent? Many decisions arise and with the housing market what it is, we decided to look for a house to buy.  We prayed for the house. We looked at some and I was a bit disappointed at what was for sale in the area we wanted to live with the price we could afford. So on my knees again, I prayed.  Long story short we have a contract (that was accepted) on a house we like, can afford, and in a great location.  If interested in more details you will have to call me to catch up because it is hard to write it all down. :)  Closing 1st of June.

April 2011

We are having a beautiful day. We have all the windows open and I am noticing I need to do some spring cleaning. But I seem to find other things to do like nap, play with the kiddos, take pictures, and did I mention play with the kiddos.
This is why I find it hard to do laundry!
