Keeping Busy

Alia is keeping us busy or maybe it is the other way around. We (Alia and I) enjoy our nap times since we end up on the go most days. There are no complaints from either party. Alia will wake up in the morning or even after her nap asking for park, playground, library, Bible (name given to the time we go to BSF or to our other Bible study) or to see her friends (AJ and Lise).  She is talking  up a storm and wanting to be around other kids. She is attempting to learn new tricks like hanging from a bar on the playground, climbing on everything, jumping, running, and even swinging on her tummy on the swing set. She had  her 18 month check up today and yes she remains in the 90th percentile for height, weight, and head circumference.
Still holding on to New England Patriots, GO TEAM!!!

She likes her duck at the playground. She is giving it a hug

See Saw Fun
at the Playground. I don't know if Alia is smiling because I was a sight to be seen or if she is having a blast.

Tick -Tock, Watch Out I Might Pop!!

We are excited for the adventure of expanding our family with baby #2. We found out that we are having a BOY!!! We are due October 9th, however I feel as if I could have him any day now. I have triple the stretch marks,  and a bigger belly or at least I feel this way. We found a doctor so I will be experiencing this birth with a doctor rather than a midwife. I plan on having him at Missouri Baptist Hospital. I still plan on going all natural as I did with Alia, so pray for us. Picture of our new addition will come as soon as we have them.

Summer 2010 in Review

Summer is coming to a close, however we have had one of the busiest ones I  can remember. May was filled with Michael finishing his Ph.D. at Brown University and then graduation.

Packing, saying our goodbyes, and moving to St. Louis mid June.
Our  house

Before Michael started his job teaching, we tried making the most of our summer by visiting family, celebrating mom's 60th birthday in Richmond, and allowing Alia to have quality time with us before her baby brother arrives. So here are a few picture of our summer enjoy!

A quick glance into our lives...

Here is a quick way to stay in touch with us, especially if you have difficulty calling, emailing, facebooking or evening traveling to come see us. Please enjoy our blog.

That is right, we are living in the St. Louis Area. Our rental house in Webster Groves is treating us nicely and Alia has adjusted quickly to the changes. She is making friends here quickly and her vocabulary is increasing daily. Michael has started his teaching at St. Louis University and is in his second week. I am staying busy preparing the house for baby # 2 that is due October 9th., learning my way around town, meeting new people and developing closer friendships with past acquaintances and of course filling my weeks up with fun activities for Alia and I to do.. (more on this topic to come).
