Stop Horsin Around!

Thanks to Aunt Jacquie we were able to visit a horse stable and see lots of horses  and cats. Alia was a bit scared of the horses but enjoys talking about them.  The 3 cats were a hit. Luke went too!! He reached out and was able to pet the horses too!

Happy Birthday, POP!

I am on a roll, with a little motivation and some family birthdays. I am having fun decorating and being creative.  Tomorrow is Pop's birthday so I made a cake. I tried a few new things and this is what was created. It is chocolate cake with buttercream icing with chocolate chips.

Trip to Owensboro

Summer is here and we are trying to make the most of it. 

Today we went to Rough River Lake and went 

boating and swimming. The kids had a ball.

Craft Time

Alia enjoys craft time and todays was right up her alley. Easy and quick and for me just a dollar to make. I got some fun stickers for a dollar at the store and stuck them on magnets that we got from doctors or realtors. 

Ojibway's visit St. Louis

Nona, Chief, and Shawna make the 14 hour ish road trip from Midlothian, Virginia to come see us for the 4th of July  holiday weekend. We stayed busy playing, working, and relaxing. Here is a sampling of some things we did. We planted plants, went sight seeing, changed a toilet, mudded a room, hung lights, made an access to the attic, went to a parade, played games.  I tried to capture some of these moments, but of course I did not capture all of them.
